Food has potential, unfortunately it is too salty - all 4 food ... Toilets are pretty shabby and smelly. Overall, the restaurant is very old, you can't see it from the outside. I should have looked at the reviews here beforehand. The only star goes to the very friendly and fast service!

Hello dear people, the potato barn is a small restaurant. The service is friendly and courteous. The dishes are delicious. A little tip, there is a whole 30% discount on all dishes after 6pm! So very clear recommendation from me! Enjoy the meal!

Cheap prices, reasonably good food, nice wait staff! Then why only 2 stars? In the current weeks, when a lot of people are personally or economically afraid of a second lockdown, it takes away my pleasure and pleasure when the waitresses usually wear their mouth / "nose" protection under their nose or chin. We wanted to eat there, but after about 15 minutes. There was no waiting time (saw us when entering the terrace) to at least take the drink order. We also found the menus to be very worn.

Moin, unfortunately I can only say bad things about the restaurant it was by far the worst food we had, the schnitzel was watery, didn't taste good, the sauce was migratory, which I could have done better in any case, canned mushrooms, the french fries too long in fat and very salty. The only positive thing was the waiter, who was nice, friendly and polite, the other waitress was in her spare time with clothes on, rude and served like someone who was not in the mood and wandered around listlessly. Conclusion: A simple dish that I can prepare. Once and never again.

The food itself is okay, we have definitely eaten better but also worse .. Still, I would have expected something different under a potato barn .. The waiter was nice. Long waiting times .. we had to wait forever until we could finally pay .. (after three requests the invoice came) However, the location is positive ... you sit very nicely. In the toilets, you prefer to eat your way ... We wouldn't come again.

I had the hamburger schnitzel. The fried egg and fried potatoes were ok. The schnitzel was fried a bit heavily. The breading was too soaked in oil for me and the taste was also a bit strange. The meat was a bit tough and rather tasteless. The service was nice. Unfortunately not convincing overall.

If you cook with Maggi at home and like to use ready-made products, you will feel at home here, I can only advise everyone else to keep going! My baked potato had aluminum paper around it, but it definitely didn't come out of the oven. Instead, it looked and tasted as if it were already 3 days old. The cream mushrooms came 100% from the yellow Maggi bucket and had a consistency of pus. The three sad mushrooms didn't make it any better. The side salad was a loveless pile of iceberg lettuce and canned corn. The baked camembert was a classic ready-made product, as can be found in Lidl. There was also toast that was so dry that it was hard to remind you of rusks and a spoonful of cranberries on a slice of cans of pineapple. The 90s called, they want their decorations back. The one star goes to the waitress! Short blond hair. It was brisk, friendly and had a casual phrase on the lips. Very sympathic!

Tempted by the 30% on all dishes from 6 p.m., we went to eat in the potato barn. The service is not very friendly, especially to walk-in customers who ask for a free table. If there is no more space, you will be harshly rejected. The guest room and the toilet rooms urgently need renovation or CLEANING. In addition, the guest room is not very cozy, without ambience or any character. The menus lying on the table are very worn and dirty. The food is carelessly arranged, neither a salad leaf as a garnish, nothing. Instead, there are two bags of ketchup and mayonnaise on the plate. You get what you order: a schnitzel with french fries and mushrooms, without any side dish. I found a hair in the mushroom sauce, unfortunately that was the way I was eating. We cannot recommend this restaurant and will not go back. Then I prefer to pay more money, but eat in a neat restaurant.

But how you manage to beat a hot lemon is quite a feat. A couple at the next table waited about 1 hour for the food and didn't even get everything. We also had to remind of a missing drink, which a lady brought us with a sullen expression. Yes, service is different. With the great location of the restaurant, more would be possible in the context of a potato barn. A 30% discount from 6 p.m. will ultimately not tear it out. More fresh products, more staff or fewer seats would do the whole thing good. We can partially confirm the negative recessions. Unfortunately...

Have never seen such unfriendly staff. Insufficient answers to questions asked. The table was also dirty and was probably not wiped after the last guest. I would have liked to have told you something about the meal, but unfortunately after an hour there was still nothing and we left. There was no apology or explanation from the waitress about the meal, only a few incomprehensible words were thrown from the kitchen. If you are not hungry and just want to sit around for 1 hour, then the potato barn is the right choice.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the many negative reviews ... we were in the Müritzeum. We wanted to go out for good food afterwards and let us be guided by the 30% discount ... unfortunately my turkey schnitzel with 4 croquettes and a Maggipampe with 3 mushrooms wasn't even worth 9.90 € (after 30% discount) .. carelessly arranged, no lettuce or something similar on the giant plate😠😠👎👎

Unfortunately we cannot report anything better. In addition to the listless service, the restaurant can shine with various ready-made dishes. Unbelievable - a potato house which offers ready-made fries, ready-made fried potatoes and ready-made potatoes, among other things.

Wanted something on July 23, 20 in the potato barn. Service was very friendly and the drinks came quickly. When we still had no food on the table after over an hour, I asked the waitress. This made smart in the kitchen. Result: After more than an hour, the cook found that he had no turkey breast. At least there was an excuse for the kitchen from the waitress and the drinks went to the house. Therefore we cannot give a rating about the food.

Long waits, the salad was served with the main course and was completely inedible! Mostly tasted of vinegar. The fried potatoes in one dish floated in oil. There was no excuse and the herb liqueur that we considered as such was listed on the invoice and was not brought at all! Just disastrous !! ☹☹☹

So bad! We ordered the bruschetta for starters. It was, seriously, the worst bruschetta ever concocted. It's difficult to get tomato and garlic on baguette wrong....but they exceeded themselves. Luckily, it set such a low standard that the lackluster and under-cooked main course was almost appreciated! Clever! Wild horses couldn't drag me back!
